Energy Transition & Technology Webinars Produced by Krishnan & Associates
Boiler Technology
Modern boiler technology increases power plant efficiency and decreases emissions. Advancements due to boiler technology generates high-pressure steam, reducing fuel use and pollution. The boiler industry is constantly changing, with new technology and industry trends growing at a rapid pace. The industry is motivated by increased investment in energy infrastructure, as well as robust emissions and energy efficiency rules implemented by various governments. Know how these innovations can improve your plant's operations through webinars on boiler technology and smart services.
Global Energy Markets
The global energy transition is complicated, with different markets facing financial, political, social, and economic conditions. K&A helps the global energy power industry, by providing marketing, lead generation, and consultancy services to help them navigate the challenging global power market. K&A also offers webinar services with experts who provide insights into specific regions' energy needs.
IOT & Digitization
Digitalization and the Internet of Things (IoT) have grown as two of the most important forces in the energy and power sectors. Energy systems are monitored, optimized, and operated in a new way by combining digitalization and IoT. K&A’s webinars will make you learn more about operational excellence in industrial plants and utilities. You will also learn how they can help in improving boiler performance, lower emissions, and improve field service management.
Nox & Sox Emissions Control
The need for innovative emission control solutions in the power and energy industry has never been greater. Power plants and industrial facilities reduce particulate matter, sulfur dioxide (SO2), and nitrogen oxide (Nox) emissions. K&A helps to reduce power plant emissions with proven DeNOx and SO2 solutions. You can learn about technologies like Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) through our webinars. You will learn how to meet stricter regulations and improve plant efficiency.
Plant Operations & Engineering
K&A understands the latest trends and technologies in the power generation industry, so as to keep you informed on power plant operations & engineering. We do webinars on various topics like cybersecurity, fuel flexibility, emissions control, and cost reduction which will make you understand how to optimize plant performance and comply with regulations and standards.
Renewables & Energy Storage
Renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies have grown in the global energy and power industry as it helps in reducing carbon emissions and in providing a sustainable energy future. K&A helps in the clean energy transition, as we specialize in solar, wind, and storage technologies, among others. Our webinars on energy storage, large-scale renewables, and carbon capture will make you learn more about the latest decarbonization developments.
Grid Modernization:
Modernizing the grid has a huge impact on achieving carbon neutrality. It is for this reason that the IRA has earmarked a significant portion of their funding for various grid modernization programs to enable electric utilities to invest in efficient transmission and distribution technologies using advanced grid automation hardware and software. Using AI and ML technologies to improve the reliability and efficiency of the grid can generate a huge return on investment based on the predictive capability and the robustness of the data in building various AI models. A number of technology providers and software companies are working on a range of technologies to enable the rapid deployment of such technologies to minimize forced outages, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency. K&A brings a lot of experience with grid software, including vegetation management, ADMS, EMS, DERMS, and various other AI/ML-based predictive tools. Based on market maturity, affordability, and the standard of living, countries are at various points in their deployment. You will learn all these and more in our webinars which covers a range of grid modernization topics.
Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS)
K&A conducts various webinars on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) which is seen as a key enabler for achieving net zero by 2050 for many countries in key industrial sectors. Some countries are more suitable for this technology than the others based on their carbon footprint, regulatory drivers, funding programs and mechanisms, economic strength, and sustainability goals to decarbonize their energy intensive industries. Many factors are still critical for the viability of CCUS, including the viability of transportation and sequestration, sufficiency of carbon offsets (e.g., Section 45Q, EU funding), project viability, monetization of the carbon captured, carbon content in specific industrial applications, technology maturity and scalability, and a host of other factors. So far, the CCUS technology has not matured enough to justify an ROI without state and federal funding. However, some industries, such as cement and steel, are compelled by competitive factors to decarbonize more rapidly because of region-specific regulations like CBAM. Such market pressures force these industries to decarbonize to remain competitive in the marketplace and obtain low-cost financing for their operations. Industries have many different ways to decarbonize and many of them are currently evaluating the most cost-effective methods to reduce their carbon intensity, which may include renewables, energy storage, fuel cells, hydrogen, CCUS, off-grid solutions, etc. We are constantly addressing these issues through our webinars to help industry people to understand more about CCUS technologies.
