Clean Energy Consulting & Marketing - EVs & Charging Stations

What enabling technologies must be developed and matured for a transition to a decarbonized electricity system to occur?

Our investigation reveals that capital is flowing into several enabling technologies that improve the flexibility of electricity production.

Electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is one of them. Electrification enables the transition from internal combustion engines to a sustainable future featuring grid-connected e-cars and the availability of EV charging infrastructure. The Biden administration has set a goal of reaching 500,000 publicly accessible EV chargers by 2030. Grid optimized systems will allow EVs to send electricity into the grid when financially advantageous or perhaps in conjunction with a demand response program. The digital transition of the grid will connect to EVs for electric charging and as a mobile energy storage system.
