Examples of Seminar Events Organized for Our Energy Industry Clients
Our client, a leading multinational OEM of boilers and FGD technologies wanted to directly engage with existing and new customers in the Indian and Sub-Saharan African market. The following case studies discuss our approach and results.
Example (Indian Power Market – Mumbai)
On March 20th, 2024, we hosted a seminar titled "India's Sustainable Energy Future: Long Duration Energy Storage Innovations and Pathways" which took place in Mumbai. This crucial discussion focused on the critical role of long duration energy storage (LDES) in achieving India's clean energy goals. The event was sponsored by a multinational company.
The objective of the seminar was to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to explore advancements in LDES technologies. Discussions centered on the importance of LDES in integrating a high volume of renewable energy sources into the national grid, ensuring stability and reliability.
Challenges and opportunities surrounding LDES deployment were addressed, including policy frameworks, cost considerations, and infrastructure development. The experts also presented on how the LAES technology is well-suited for long duration storage, bulk load shifting applications, and how it can be integrated into the grid.
We had over 70 high level decision makers from more than 30 power producers, A/Es, and regulators who attended the seminar.
Example (Indian Power Market – New Delhi)
On June 14th, 2023, we hosted a seminar on the topic “Liquid Air Energy Storage Seminar: The Pathway to Decarbonizing the Indian Power System.” The event was sponsored by a multinational company & their partner.
The objective of this seminar was to connect with the market and demonstrate Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) Technology applications in detail through case studies from global markets and other regions with similar needs & goals as India, such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious plan to reach net zero emissions by 2070. The experts also presented on how the LAES technology is well-suited for long duration storage, bulk load shifting applications, and how it can be integrated into the grid.
We had over 75 high level decision makers from more than 30 power producers, A/Es, and regulators who attended the seminar.
Example (Indian Power Market – New Delhi)
On September 27th, 2022, we hosted a seminar on the topic “Technology Options to Address India’s Changing Energy Needs: A Clean Energy Seminar on Biomass CFB, Dry FGD and Calcium Looping for Carbon Capture.” The event was sponsored by a multinational company & their partner.
The objective of this seminar was to connect with the market and demonstrate CFB Technology applications in detail through case studies from the Indian market and other regions with similar needs such as increased fuel flexibility and decreased emissions. The experts also presented on dry FGD technologies and an innovative carbon capture method using calcium looping. These emission reduction technologies will play a vital role in the future of the power and energy market.
We had over 60 high level decision makers from more than 30 power producers, A/Es, and regulators who attended the seminar.
Example (Indian Power Market – New Delhi)
On February 8th 2018, we hosted a seminar on the topic "Advancements in CFB Technology Provide the Best Solution for India's Energy Future." The event was sponsored by a multinational company.
The objective of the seminar was to focus on the technical, economic and environmental benefits of CFB boilers that may be customized for the Indian power market. Plant case studies relevant to the Indian market & fuels were presented.
We had over 70 high level decision makers from more than 40 power producers, A/Es, regulators and ministry officials who attended the seminar.
Example (South African Power Market - Johannesburg)
On July 18, 2018, we brought in over 75 senior decision - makers from the South African and Sub-Saharan Energy Industry into a seminar hosted at a 5-star hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. Attendees included large companies like ESKOM, Sasol, etc. A&Es like Black & Veatch, etc.
The objective of the seminar was to focus on the technical, economic and environmental benefits of CFB boilers that may be customized for the Indian power market. Plant case studies relevant to the African market & fuels were presented.
Example (South African Power Market - Cape Town)
On May 15th 2019, we hosted a seminar on the topic “Advancements in CFB Technology Provide the Best Solution for South Africa’s Energy Future.” The event was sponsored by a multinational company.
The objective of this seminar was to discuss CFB Technology in detail and present case studies pertinent to increased fuel flexibility and low emissions design. Our CFB Experts discussed how African power producers can utilize the lowest cost coal including petcoke, coal slurry, lignite, washery rejects, biomass, rice husks and peat, in various combinations, providing the capability to provide the lowest possible power cost for African consumers.
We had over 40 high level decision makers from more than 20 power producers, A/Es, and regulators who attended the seminar.
