K&A Invited to the Roundtable on Pollution Control Technology Options for Coal Power Stations Held in New Delhi

July 6, 2016 - K&A Managing Director Ravi Krishnan was invited to the Roundtable on Pollution Control Technology Options: Coal Power Stations organized by the Center for Science & Environment on July 6, 2016 in New Delhi, India. The meeting was attended by a number of domestic and foreign Clean Energy Technology Companies to discuss views on various market, operational and commercial issues arising out of the new environmental regulations impacting thermal power plants in India.

A number of presentations were made on NOx, SO2, Hg and PM control technologies for the Indian market. Representatives from CSE moderated the discussion and offered to provide feedback to the government on the issue of standardization of specifications for AQCS technologies and initiating compensatory tariffs for the IPPs for the increased costs associated with the AQCS systems in India.
