Krishnan & Associates Inc., recently organised and promoted a seminar for Coal Fired Boiler Technology at the ITC Maratha Hotel in Mumbai, on “Advancements in Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Technology Providing the Best Solutions for India's Energy Future”

The objective of this seminar was to discuss CFB Technology in detail and present case studies pertinent to increased fuel flexibility and low emissions design. Our CFB Experts discussed how Indian power producers can utilize the lowest cost coal including petcoke, coal slurry, lignite, washery rejects, biomass, rice husks and peat, in various combinations, providing the capability to provide the lowest possible power cost for Indian consumers.

This event was well attended by key decision makers from the Ministry of Power, Regulatory personnel, EPC’s, Utilities and IPPs. Representatives from each organisation included Directors and Chief engineers from the Central Electricity Board and Power Ministry, high-level executives from various IPP’s and Refineries, all exhibiting interest in this technology. The seminar was attended by over 60 participants.
